DIALECTIVE 2024 Runway Showcase

DIALECTIVE (@dialective.xyz) is a nonprofit fashion collective based in NYC supporting emerging designers through peer directed runway showcases, fashionweek showrooms, and collabroative studio space. Building networks between designers, the industry, photographers, producers, set designers, lighting technicians and more.

As Director of Production I worked to execute a successful runway show and post show exhibition displaying the work of twenty emerging designers, sending 138 looks down the runway. We coordinated with 6 industry professional judges to select the designers through a blind open call process, collaborated with local buisnesses to create fundraising opprotunities for the show, and built a team of excelent assistants, photographers, lighting+sound technicians, stylists, makeup artists, and more to put on a show for 300+ audience members. 20/20 designers who participated have had looks pulled for stylist opportunities post show, may have been featued in social media outreach, and have been pursued for post-grad opportunities.
